I have read and heard stories regarding the online dating scam done by unethical users in this online dating sites.
Kind of scary aren’t they !! But I decided to choose online dating as my one option to meet new mate due to my busy working schedule and always on my laptop.
Me, I normally am very careful with things that I do and as for this matter of fact, I just need to do a bit of research on how does the so call love scammer, “Modes Operandi “so that I do not fall into this nasty situation and trap in this awful scene.
However, there are many online dating/relationship sites available in the online world. We will get confused which one to choose.
Which is the best reliable site ??? No one knows..
Again, it’s a toughest choice to choose the dating sites as I am not a paid member.
There are OKCupid, Twoo, Tinder, Match.com, EHarmorny, Muslima.com and many more…
I then decided to register myself with OKCupid.com and Muslima.com.
Putting my photo and write up a simple profile of mine on the dating site.
Then just wait and see who is interested to get to know me.
No searching, No viewing others profile..I do nothing then just wait and see..
As for me, I don’t chase after a man, i prefer man to come and approach me.
Surprisingly, my inbox always full of new request . I think this happened to all ladies who is in online dating. I had to filter and roughly 90% of the request being rejected. I reject because of several factors:

Furthermore, you need to take gigantic list of personality questionnaires, designed to increase the compatibility which I think it is cool.
As I am a Muslim, Muslima.com sites I think would be good too but It is ok for me, if I were to meet someone who is a non-muslim. Having a ” Multicultural Relationship” is exciting and fun too.Hence, I do register on Muslima.com and see how it goes…
Well again, jobs had kept me so busy and I was not focus on meeting new mate online. It was on and off things for me. I seldom be online to view who is interested to get to know me.

Several occasions in OKCupid , I met scammers and it was kind of funny as I still talking to them even though knowing they are scammer.
I would like to see how far these scammers are able to cheat and scamming their victims.
I met a white guy who is base in Europe, he claimed as an oil and gas engineer. We just talk over whatsapps and no video call.
Within two weeks, he starts talking his plan of coming to meet me.
From the daily conversations and text, I do realize that something dodgy is going on as he doesn’t want to be on video call but I still continue talking to him.
Until end of 3rd weeks, he surprised me with his KLM flight full iterinary of his trip to see me.
As an avid traveler, I know much about flight iterinary ticket issue by airlines.
When he sent me the KLM flight schedule, everything seems perfect BUT I noticed there is a “FONT” differences at this area : COPY and PASTE on these 2 areas.
Then BINGO! Confirmed he is a scammer.
Towards the day of flying, he said that he has problems with his bank account that he is unable to take out his money for his travelling expenses and asking me to transfer USD5,000.
He begged asking money until USD 2,000 would be fine for his trip while waiting for his bank online account activated.
In response to that I told him that I am too now having financial difficulty and wanting to ask him for some financial support.
As he kept on pushing me, so hard for money. Me too pushed him hard asking for money till he get so annoyed and his last words to me was “I hate you, Asian jack ass “.
That was the last words I received from him. He vanished.
Another white guy and his 6 years old son living in Dubai which I met on the dating site.
We voice call, skype call and everything seems alright but I felt suspicious after a month of talking he say that he wanting me to meet his cousin who is a black guy saying he is a student living near to the place where I live.
He kept insisting me, on behalf of him to give presents a brand new laptop to his cousin for his birthday.
Well, since that day I knew that something is not right but I am just curious that these scammers are so daring and what would be his next step.
I make a brave move to meet his cousin at a restaurant in a mall where he claimed he study at that university without having the laptop as requested by his cousin in Dubai.
Since it is an open area, I am confident that all will be safe.
The meeting went with big frustration from the guy who is looking forward to receive present from his cousin.
I told him that I had financial difficulties that I am unable to buy him presents.
He cut short the meeting and went off.
From that day on wards, I never heard from his cousin in Dubai.I can confirmed its an international scamming syndicate. They not only do money scamming also electronic devices.
My business partner met a white guy online whom claimed is a military captain. They have been talking for a month and one fine day, she received a call from local custom that he has already arrived at the airport and being stop by custom due to carrying a sum of USD 20,000 cash for business investment with my friend.
The custom called using local number and talk to my friend and past the line to the white guy asking my friend to deposit USD 2,000.00 for penalty of taking in big amount of cash in this country.
My friend was stuck as she 100% believe it was true and luckily, I was next to her hearing all the conversation.
I advised my friend to talk to the white guy to take the USD2,000 cash out of his bag which is full of cash and pay for the penalty.
The custom negotiated till reduce to USD500 and insisted my friend to bank in the money to the custom local account.
Again, my friend said that he may take it from the white guy and the custom slammed the phone and that’s it… no more love from the white man…
Many I met online asking for video call and wanting sex or a meet up then having one night stand which I am not into it.
Some only wanting “sexting”, which I did tried and I think it was quite fun to test my Creative Thinking Skill… lol..
As for the Muslim site, a different kind of situation I discover in the Muslima.com site.
This is what I personally experienced:
1. Many guys mainly from Pakistan, India, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia age group of 25 years old or 50-60 years old looking forward to married to lady from a stable country.
They just want to be out of their home country for some reasons.
2. Some asking for video call and wanting online sex same as in OKCupid.
3. Many looking forward to polygamy which I am not into polygamy.
4. Few are genuine men, professional living in Europe and Middle East but I just feel that we do not have chemistry for a long-term relationship. Some, we end up as friends and some we just stop talking to each other.
5. Many men are into open relationship and again I am not into it also. So we stop.
Well, even if you meet a man in-person, same situation might happen with slight different scenario.
If you decided to search for the man of your dream.
So why not try online dating , just Be Brave and Smart.
Yes, you can detect online scammer as early as second day of marathon conversation with your so call future man when you are on online dating.
As for me, my journey of finding the real love online is quite interesting.. and these cases above are based on my personal experiences. I care to share as I do not want this to happen to you.
